Louis Armstrong Song

I heard this song on the radio, and it was definitely a Lous Armstrong song. The problem is that I mostly heard the trumpet solo so I couldn't catch the lyrics. What I do know is that the very end is a trumpet solo and he sings for about half the song.

Any help?

Re: Louis Armstrong Song

Thanks for replying, but neither of these is the song. In the song I'm talking about, the very last part starts with a note, goes down one note, goes back up to the originl note, and then does a scale run up to a note with a fermata. All of the notes that I mentioned prior to the fermata were eight notes. It was a really cool song, and I've looked through many of Armstrong's songs. What could it be?

Re: Louis Armstrong Song

Unfortunately I've heard lots of Armstrong songs end in a similar way, but not always the same way twice! Depends on the album.

Look for "It Takes Two to Tango" and "Don't Get Around Much Anymore". I've heard both end in a similar way that you describe.

Alternately you could download iTunes (you don't need an iPod to do so), follow the link to the iTunes Store and do a search for Louis Armstrong. You'll find a lot of songs, but they're free to preview so you should be able to find the one you're looking for...

Try Free Music, Listen to Music Free where you can listen to the whole song.

I am just listening to Street Player by Chicago (with Maynard Ferguson on trumpet):

Chicago - Street Player (Remastered LP Version) - Listen Free
