Re: Maynard Tribute

but it must be nice to have a little glitch on a high B and then turn it into a lip trill....especially after playing lead for most of the 2-3 hour show and a feature on Mac Park

buy the DVD and check out the end of Blue Birdland - Waynard crushes a dubba C# (and Carl Fischer and Roger Ingram are amazing too...lots of great playing going on throughout the show)

Oh, I have it- absolutely love it! You're right, I've noticed he plays lead most of the time. And at the end of the night still nails it? Superhuman, this guy is a machine! One day I hope to be half the player he is...

Good question, I wouldn't mind getting it. It may be on the Maynard tribute site.

www.maynardferguson.com is where I ordered my copy - 2 discs -One of the concert and another of historic MF footage from the 50's to 2006 - worth the $50 and then some IMHO
