I went to hear the NDR big band during the London Jazz Festival recently.

Really good band..

I did some projects with them as a leadplayer. The most interesting one was with the music of Piazzolla. It's a great band and fun to play with.

If you like Zappa's music you could also check Malcolm McNab's newest cd. Zappa wrote a piece for him which is on this cd.
