Don't you just love the octave key.
(and no, I don't use it)

The jazz band I'm in has that song, and every once in a while we pull it out. We also have a trombone player that kicks ass on that solo.

Isn't that Alan Wise with the big fro in the back?

I love watching Maynard breathe in that clip.

It's also interesting to not that from a purely musical standpoint, it's pretty rough around the edges, however, that doesn't keep it from being exciting and entertaining.
