It seems that some of our compadres are not as honest as others and have found ways to get my book for free through illegal hacking or just sending copies to friends. This is the same as stealing a book out of a bookstore and the consequences could be worse. Each download (legit or not) has a tracking number imbedded and can be traced to the email it went to. This is a violation of the Interstate Commerce Act and is a Federal offense (felony). I do not want to prosecute anyone, but the payment company I use reports hackers to FBI. Please don't mess up your lives for doing something stupid! If you have an illegal copy, go to my site and buy the book. We'll have a record that you paid for it. Thank you to all who have bought it and I really appreciate all of the good feedback! -GW

Just a "heads up" for those of you who've been thinking about buying the book. I will be ending the Limited Time Offer of $19.95 for the ebook and $29.95 for a spiral bound copy back to $24.95 and $34.95, respectively, on September 1st, 2009.

The book will have some additions and more links at that time, too. For those who've already purchased the book or buy it before the price change, you will be emailed the revision pages, so don't worry, I've got your addresses.

Just a quick note to everybody: If you've sent an email in the last week or so, I may not have replied to it. I've gotten back to a lot of you, but I think there are some who are still waiting for me to answer. I've been dealing with some family issues and a good friend in the hospital who needed to be on 24 hour watch for awhile, so I was taking turns with his family members. I'm home now and getting back to work, so I will get to you as I find you!

Hey everybody! I've got a few things to report:

First, I feel like such a doofus! I went in and changed the website a little bit the other day to tighten it up a bit and noticed this morning that there haven't been any sales of the book since! Not good! I clicked on the checkout button and nothing happened!! I accidentally erased the link to the checkout site! D'oh!!!!!

So, if you've been trying to buy the book the past few days, go back and try again, please! The link has been fixed. (Like I've said many times before, I'm not a techie!)

I have the updated text ready. It only affects some of the text pages, not the Lessons themselves, giving some alternate approaches to the warm up and a link is changed from the diagrams for wedge breathing (that website has been taken down for some reason) to a link to the complete text of "The Science of Breath". Those of you who have purchased the book already will get those pages sometime this month. (I'll be sending them out in batches.) It is in the form of a .doc (Word) file, right now and has actually added a page.

For those of you who are purchasing the book, please go ahead and do so. What you will get in the download is the old version. However, I get a notification and email for each purchase. I will email you the new version right away. I am working on the website and am trying to figure out a more secure method of hiding the book from hackers.

It does my heart good to see and hear from so many of you who stick with this method and have "breakthroughs"! The idea of adopting something different is difficult for some, and the idea of working hard to achieve goals is foreign to just a few. Those who actually read the text and don't interpret things are the ones who have made the most progress. It is so much fun to hear from those of you who say, my tone is bigger, my endurance is greater, my accuracty has improved, etc., in addition to improving your range attests to the value Cat's method.

Finally (for today), I am in the process of moving from San Diego to Palm Springs, so things are a little hectic with packing, tossing stuff out, etc. I will be moving there the first of October and at that point, communications may be spotty for a couple of days because of cable/internet services being installed, etc. I will get back to you! Those of you who have contacted me about things know that I make it a point to get back to you right away and am always happy to help!

Hey all!

For those of you who haven't gotten the revision yet, be patient. My move and settling in has taken more of my time than I anticipated, so I've fallen a bit behind schedule. Thanks for the quick responses from some of you who have received the book in the past few days. I'm sending it out in batches, from the earliest buyers to the point where I started selling the revision.

For those of you who bought hard copies, e-mail me if you want me to send you just the revised info.

For those of you who are just now purchasing the book, you'll get the new version immediately.

As always, I thank everybody for your nice comments, your questions, and your progress reports!

It seems that everyone HAS been emailing me instead of posting here and on other forums! Maybe I should have kept my fingers off of the keyboard... I like all of the comments... really!

I need to apologize for a few things, however. Since my move here to the desert area, my playing schedule has increased with local bands, shows, etc., I've been slow to get some things back to people - particularly those who have bought the hard copy and haven't been mailed the changed pages.

I have also indicated that there are some new audio tapes of an interview with Cat that I'd like to put out there. I'M still waiting to hear them. There's not much I can do about it, though, until my friend who has them comes home from a touring show he's on. Good for him. Bad for me (and you).

So, from now on, I'll just post things after I get them, instead of passing the news along immediately after hearing about it and then not being able to deliver (at least as soon as I wanted to).

Interesting note (to me at least): A lot of book sales to China recently. So all you U.S. guys who've been on the edge about buying the book, get off the couch! We don't want the Chinese to beat us at high notes at the next Olympics! I think I have had at least one person from every country on the globe, save a few African countries and those "we" don't talk to, buy the book. Such an odd experience, but very gratifying.
