MySpace has just launched a new PPD feature with SnoCap. I've signed up. So, if you don't want to buy a whole CD, you can purchase an mp3 of single tracks. The CD's do have better audio and you get a hard copy of everything, but these mp3's are quite high quality.

Just an FYI. I'll be gradually uploading my whole library there. While some folks may have already downloaded these tracks at previous times, this would provide an opportunity for support for those previous downloads, if you feel you can.

I am ONLY posting this announcement here and at MySpace. I see TM as a bit more "family-like" than some of the other places, and hope folks will understand the tenor of this post.

Thanks, Wilcox, dude, but I don't do much. The MySpace folks and the Snocap folks are responsible for most of it.

Some folks put up a LOT of bells and whisltes with some website formats sepcifically designed for MySpace. Trent has some next slide shows built into his. My cousin, and trombone virtuoso, Steve Weist, has a SUPERSLICK MySpace site.

Personally, I like keeping my a bit more simple. It's just a matter of taste, I suppose.

Trent, in addition to having some excellent music, has a cool little dog, too!

The SnoCap thing is giving me a way to sell on a "pay-per-download" basis with MySpace (a little like ITunes...). We'll have to see how it works out. I have almost 3000 friends there, now. If .01% were to buy a track, I'll make $2.85!!! I'm already looking at property in Malibu! (heh)
