  | Patterns for Jazz by Coker anyone have any experience with this method book? Would it be good for the complete novice jazz soloist? Any comments? Eric |

| Re: Patterns for Jazz by Coker The book covers exactly what it says, jazz patterns. It starts with basic major scales and arpeggios, then gets into other chords and complex patterns. Good book for a beginning 'vocabulary' |
