Just to let anyone who may be iinterested that Gordon Goodwin and the Big Phat Band will be in concert on March 7 in Spring, Texas. I have 3rd row seats and am so excited I can't contain myself!

There are about 150 great seat left, and about 20 more in the balcony. I was told by a friend that this is a very nice performance center and there is not a bad seat in the house.

I've never been there before, but this location is close enough to my home (225 miles) that we can make it over there for Friday night concerts and make a nice weekend out of it.

I'll post a comment after the concert to let you all know how it is. I know there are several people from Texas that post here.

I had decided that I was going to go/fly anywhere in the USA I had to this year to see the Phat Band because they are my favorites! I turn 50 next monday and I deserve this! I've been a good and loyal music educator for 30-years. This is a nice birthday gift to myself!

Hmm, that's about a two hour drive from where I'm at. I might be able to pull that off seeing as it's a Friday night. They're also putting on a concert in Stephenville, TX on 3/8 at Tarleton St. University for those who live in that neck of the woods.
