R.I.P Alice Coltrane R.I.P. Michael Brecker

I have just been informed that both pianist Alice Coltrane (Wife of John) has just died, and sax legend Michael Brecker has died as well.

I had the pleasure of performing with Michael in 2004. It was an incredible experience. He was really inspirational to talk to.

I don't have a link to an article on Alice Coltrane's death, but I will post one when I find one.

Both will be greatly missed.

my first cup of coffee this morning was interrupted by this sad news via an email from a good friend...

rip Michael and thank you for the music.
