| Some Pretty Awesome Folk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvYIiFcPfv4 Very nice clip. Makes me think of my Mom who danced to the James band and others. Who's playing marimba? Regards, Richard Oliver Last edited by Richard Oliver : 12-09-2006 at 03:25 AM. |

| Re: Some Pretty Awesome Folk It's from a TV broadcast "Swing Into Spring" new York City, April 9, 1958. The only difference is I came up with Roy Burns on drums. It featured Harry James, Billy Butterfield and Buck Clayton on trumpet, Lou McGarity, Urbie Green and Eddie Bert on bone, Hymie Schertzer, Walt Levensky on alto Zoot sims and Al Klink on tenor Sol schlinger on bari Hank Jones and teddy Wilson on piano Red Norvo on vibes Kenny Burrell on guitar George Duvivier and Arvell Shaw on bass Benny Goodman on clarinet -cw- Last edited by Solar Bell : 12-09-2006 at 12:48 PM. |
