 | This Sunday at Fitzgerald's (6/22/08) Well, folks, I've been lurking, but still here. Since school let out I've been extremely busy with playing and family. My son has started going to pro jam sessions with me. He finally got up the nerve to sit in and held his own. What a thrill for a dad. Well, THIS SUNDAY, June 22 at 6:00 PM I'll be with the Chicago Grandstand Big Band at Fitzgerald's on Roosevelt Road east of Harlem and West of Austin and south of the Eisenhower expressway. I'll be there with my NYTC Stage 1 California Light. It would be lovely to meet some folks from TM there. I know there is a Chicago contingency here. If you make it down, please say hello. Our last few gigs were a lot of fun, and I have high expectations for this one, too! Heck, if enough of us are there, we can all run down to Andy's afterwards and sit in there as well! I do hope to see you there. It'll be my turn to hold my own! Peace. Nick Drozdoff
