 | TA Live free internet broadcast Wed 12 noon EST! Hey guys! I just found out my gig with the "Gringo Kings" at the beautiful Mechanics Hall (Mechanics Hall) is going to be broadcast live on WICN Public radio. The kicker is that you can listen free at the following site below: Brown Bag Concerts You should be able to listen to the concert live by clicking a link on that site! There will be two trumpeters in this cool latin-jazz band, myself and the smokin' Garrett Savluk. It will be a ton of fun. I have to figure out which horn to play ;) The concert is from 12-1 (and if you're in the area it's free of charge!). Hope you can check it out. Let me know what you think! Cheers, T |

There is a free download for their Live365 player, but I didn't need another freakin' player. ha. Thankfully, they offer you that option. GO to the "home" page: WICN Public Radio and click on "Listen Online" at the top left. From there, another window will appear...then you can see where to configure your player. This is good stuff, Trent...Garrett. Nice guys. ...here..try this: Live365 - Player Window >...For a follow up...thanks a bunch for letting us know about this, Trent. This was a good one to catch. We recorded with no soundcheck and just a couple overhead mics so I can't comment on the sound on air but Mechanics' Hall is probably my favorite venue to play... the trumpet sounds so good in the hall. I had a few friends there who said the live sound was amazing. If you ever get to play at that hall do it! I bet Tony's played there before. It's awesome. Garrett and I had a great time going crazy on some latin stuff. not exactly my bag but a few high notes cures everything. Garrett played most of the 1st parts but I did all the "squaking"... or screaming. ;) He's such a great player and tremendous hang. What a talent! FWIW I was playing my 993 with STC2 B4L. That's a great combo IMO. I just got back from Osmun with a modified 80 series Warburton that makes playing the Wedge pieces on my 993 heavenly. thanks again for checking it out! -T |
