![]() | Taking off.... To all of my Trumpet Forum Friends, As many of you have noticed, I just can't get on a regular schedule with this forum thing. I love the idea and the involvement but my plate is just a bit too full these days. Note:There is absolutely NO negative energy involved in this choice of mine so please know that I will miss you all and hope we can interact once way or another for many years to come. The time and energy I have put in thus far has been totally worth it, and all of your friendships and incredible care in asking and helping answer the questions we have dealt with have been amazing learning experiences across the board. I pledge to keep Mike (and the forum admin) aware of my gigs and things going on, so here's to a hug, hang or just a hello at one of my gigs down the road. Peace and all the best in the music and on the horn! Yours, Ingrid PS- I am going to finish answering all of the questions (Monette,etc..) in the next few days! |

| Forte User | Re: Taking off.... Ingrid, Though you may not be able to get anymore involved on a regular basis, we will all appreciate if you can stop by now and then like Adam Rapa, Jens Lindemann and some others great trumpeters. Good luck to all your projects! We will look forward to see you again in the forum!

![]() | Re: Taking off.... Ingrid, As an Elementary School band director I'd like to say that trumpet players like you make it easier to assure young female students that it's fine for girls to play the trumpet. Good luck, you sound great. Bob

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Taking off.... Waaaah! It may be a scary idea, but a lurking Ingrid carries much, much more weight than a bunch of stalking Vulgani! Please surprise us on occasion with one of your lucid (rare enough here) posts. Oops--not that your post's aren't lucid, but the rest of us aren't always--well mine, anyway! We treasure your playing and your mind (and, uhh, for this person, your proof that jazz has nothing to do with gender nor cojones, but with ideas and ideals!) Keep in touch on occasion, if you can, and..... thanks!

![]() | Re: Taking off.... Hey Ingrid, I will really miss you on here. I am appreciative of your time that you devoted to this forum and will always support you. I am very fortunate to live in NYC just to be able to see you perform. (I’ve heard Ingrid perform at the Jazz Standard, Kitano, and the 55 Bar in NYC and all performances were amazing! She is one of my top favorite modern day trumpet players and she is such a nice person). Ingrid, I hope to see you at one of your upcoming Jazz Standard gigs with FONT or with Maria Schneider. Take care and best wishes. Keep on keeping on. Janell
