| Theo Croker Heard him yesterday night in Shanghais House of Blues and Jazz. Wow, what a talent ! He's young and certainly will have a great future. Does anyone know more about him ? His playing sounded like Marsalis-school. |

| New Friend | Re: Theo Croker I don't know a lot about him, but a friend of mine named Phillip knows him quite well. He's absolutely amazing. I hope more people get to know his playing. I added him to Eds' forum topic on players to watch, and I hope people start watching him more! |

| Pianissimo User | Re: Theo Croker I believe that Theo is the grandson of Doc Cheatham. I recall my friends from Florida telling nothing but great things about Theo's jazz playing. |

| Re: Theo Croker At Stanford Jazz Workshop last summer, I got to study with Theo and Ambrose Akinmusire, the guy who won the Thelonious Monk competition. I felt like I was walking among the gods. |
