So few jobs ... and now a machine. Rap "musicians" make tons of money for crap and now Broadway and off-Broadway want to not use live musicians.

Would you pay ticket prices for a Broadway show or off-Broadway show to hear a machine? I wouldn't.

I am not a big supporter of unions in most cases, but in this case I am. Let them protest -- if I worked in NY I would join them.

As it said in the article, there was (is?) trouble with this in the West End as well. Bad news for players and bad news for audiences in my opinion.

Hi
I am going to the US for a holiday this summer. At the moment it'll be Vegas or New York, or maybe both. I intend to see a few shows when I am over there but will ensure I am listening to a live band.
A live band will be an absolute must and I will pay what is required to go to a show with one. No live horns means I won't be spending my $ on their show.
