What kind of mouthpiece did Maynard use?

As said in the title, does anyone have a list of all the different mouthpieces he used and possibly which he used to record what. And if you happen to know, what horns did he have. Thanks ^^

NickD has a spectacular aura about
MF Mpce

OK, when I was on the band in 1981, he was still using that MF Mpce that Jet Tone was making. This was one strange mouthpiece (strong talk coming from me, an Asymmetric user!) in that it had no bite and no cup, really. The curve was almost a catenary curve starting from the outter edge of where the "rim" started and curving all the way into the rather large throat. I have one and can play it, though it isn't a good fit for me.

Perhaps someone who is more current with their experience with MF can tell us what he was using more recently.

Nick

He used a custom made Giardinelli (sp?) before Jet-Tone.

Eclipsehornplayer is on a distinguished road
And as of lately; or sadly until his recent departure. He was using mouthpieces made for him by Dave Monette.

Nick: I agree that Jet Tone piece is wierd. I can play it but it's not a good fit for me either. It makes me play everything sharp big time!

I have an MF3 Holton. I bought it from the used mouth piece box at a music store.
I can not play it at all.
Let the bidding begin. I sure don't need it.

Yeah, John's right.... Monette developed a mouthpiece he used exclusively for the past few years and a horn as well. I borrowed that instrument to play some stuff at the hall... I now have one on order! What a honey.

Manny,
How many of Dave's horns do you have now?

I played that MFIII for a while...whoo..what an adventure that was.

Tracks can also be bought and downloaded now, for 99 cents a track. I know probably nobody here will do it, but it's worth a shot. :)
