What's New?

Heard any new Jazz Cds or LPs by trumpet players recently? I have the Cd by Joey Defrancesco with a quintet featuring the great music of Horace Silver with Tom Harrell on trumpet.Finger Poppin' is the title of that CD. Another I like is Jubilation by Warren Vache and John Allred quintet which also features a couple of Horace Silver classics, Song For My father and Strollin'.
Have you heard other recent Jazz music worthy of a listen?

Re: What's New?

Horace's music by Joey Defrancesco and Tom Harrell ? If this is a NEW CD, I have to wait a while before we can get it in France. But sure I'll buy it as soon as possible ! Thank you for the information.

Re: What's New?

Hi Dupac, You can get Finger Poppin' by Joey Defrancesco online like I did on iTunes. Also Rhapsody has it available for online purchase. itunes.com and real.com
Tom Harrell plays a nice version of the great Horace Silver song Peace on the album. I don't know if you know but Tom played with Horace Silver in the 70s. So check out itunes and real websites .
