Wynton Marsalis and the LCJO

I saw them last night in Stony Brook, NY and they put on a great show. It's like watching an all star jazz team play. The encore was Wynton playing Stardust.

I saw them a few weeks ago in Morgantown, West Virginia, and it was a very impressive show. My trumpet teacher got me backstage and I met Wynton and a few of the other guys. They were all really humble, and they were so willing to just stand around and hang out.

Don't miss Wynton Marsalis and the LCJO when they come near your home! They are simply amazing. Every single musician in the LCJO is a great performer. I saw them at the Montreal Jazz Festival this year with their "congo square" show... I will remember this all my life for sure.

Note that Wynton Marsalis wasn't playing that much during the show, letting the other musician show their talent. Of course, he's simply a genius at the trumpet.
