Wynton rehearsal clips on itunes

Hey all, I was putzing around itunes today and found some free downloads in the itunes store of about 10-15 Marsalis (I think it's the septet) rehearsals. It's through the Wynton fan club, I think. Anyway, they're about five minutes apiece, but they're video, so that's pretty cool. A few are just snippets of rehearsal solos and such, but there are some snippets of count-offs/direction, etc., so you can see the group working through the charts. It's worth the download if you wanna see how a group like that rehearses.

Ah...tried again, and found it. Search for Wynton Marsalis Fan club. They're podcasts.

Thanks for the tip!

B15- If you launch iTunes, then click on iTunes store, type "Wynton Marsalis fan club" in the search window. That should bring it up for you (that's how I did it). There's a series of about 40 or so podcasts. The rehearsals are videos, so if you want to put them on your iPod, you have to have a 5th greneration iPod to do that. (Mine isn't ). But you can still use them on your computer.

Yeah, there's really no link to send. Click Itunes store, and in the upper right, in the search window that you always use for Itunes, type in "wynton marsalis fan club" OR "wynton marsalis podcast" or "wynton marsalis rehearsal." It takes some work, maybe?

Better way: search "wynton marsalis," look on the bottom right hand of the middle of the page, and subscribe to (or at least navigate to) the podcasts.

I'm going to go ahead and recommend a particular podcast on there of the ones I've checked out:
the one added August 11, it's 8:27 long, and Wynton has some great things to say to the rhythm section--he often says these things while he's breathing between phrases of his solo! And the tune's a beaut too.
