| After hearing Tom Harrell play it on "Live at the Village Vanguard", I would have to say, "Everything Happens to Me." Just a little observation, most-if not all (I can't remember 20 seconds ago)--of the tunes mentioned here are or can be ballads.... Hmmmm... Sax players would probably be like, "Giant Steps" or some Parker tune. Dumb-a-s-ses... :wink: --Kevin P.S. Also Body and Soul for my #2 pick. |

| Forte User | I think that my favorite big band cut of all time is "Time for a Change" by the Stan Kenton Orchestra. That tune rocks in my opinion. |
