Re: 14b schilke

You said you wanted a mouthpiece like a 3C, but shallower and with a flatter rim. A 14B is "like" a 3C. The next shallowest would be an A cup, commonly available with a flatter rim: the 14A4. Nobody can help it if you can't play that model. Maybe it's time to reassess what you're looking for.

???????????
I said that the 14A4A is a specialty mouthpiece and that the 14B is like a 3c, just smoother. I never said that the 14B is like any 14A4A. They are night and day. The rims are similar.

Van, you are wasting time on this mouthpiece thing. It does increase your post count, but you don't seem to be learning anything. If you go through all mouthpieces similar to the 3c, you will have a thousand posts and be royally confused. Just stick with something that you own for a couple of years. You can't buy a mouthpiece by the numbers. Once you have a couple years experience, then you will know what needs to come next.
