Hey Manny, would switching to a 1C help with anything? I have a pretty full set of lips.. and I think I have range problems.

Without seeing or hearing you play, how can anyone make that determination? If you want to try out a 1c, try it out.

Trying it out is the only way to tell if it's better for you. But try some others too. The 1C is very big compared to the 7C, try a 3C and a 5C too, or maybe even some differant brands. Just try alot and see wich one feels best to you and go with that.

Right.

My progression, a hundred years ago was Bach 7C, 2 1/2 C , 1C, 1 1/4C, 1 1/2C, 1B, 1A, Monette C/B 1-2.

My mouthpiece progression was:

Bach 7C, Warburton 4MC, Warburton 3MD, Bach 1.25C, Bach 2C, Bach 2, Bach 1.5B, Monette B3D, Monette B2D, Monette B1-1.

Who else wants to post their progression?
