![]() | Best case? I've given up my search for a gig bag that will protect my trumpet and have started looking for a good case. So far all I've found that looks like it would work is the Bach 1843 Single Trumpet Case. I am having problems with the case I have now letting things like valve oil and pencils scratch my trumpet. It's a double yamaha case that came with the trumpet. |

![]() ![]() | I second the Torpedo bag! Under $200.00 and all the protection you need. Attatched mute bag should carry all your mutes, etc. -cw-

![]() | Are you looking for low price or for high quality? IMO, the Wiseman cases are about the best made in the world and one of the most expensive. Hey, life time guarantee, quality leather all over, inserts are replaceable should you buy another horn with different specs, leather mute bag, leather music folder, light in weight and extremely strong. Howard Wiseman is a perfectionist. You will not believe the tolerances he has on his cases. Everything is made to fit perfect!! I have found only one problem. These cases are so fantastic, that one wants another case to protect the original case................................and he makes those also.............................................. protective cover. ![]() | Walt Johnson cases. They will last a lifetime. I gave up on gig bags. I once travelled with a case (a stock case that came with my horn) and actually found many uses for it LoL , I used it as a footrest, a chair plus I didn't worry too much on where I put down at. Come to think of it cases aren't really bad and c'mon guys they are not that heavy. |

| New Friend | best case Hi There:) I think the best case on the market today has to be the armor cases over at rawbrass.com The only thing that can hurt these cases is probally a Mac truck.Very well put together and made by a great guy Don Shire, Who is also a trumpet player that travels all over the world with his cases. I assure you there is nothing on the market today that can give more protection than these cases. Regards Auggy |

![]() | I must say that I am a big fan of my Brass Bags Triple Trumpet Case. It was rather expensive seeing as it had to be shipped from Europe but it was worth it. It is about the size of a bach single case yet holds my three horns, a 1 inch binder of music, oils, mouthpieces and any other accessory i might need. I also love the backpack straps which make carrying my horns a lot easier. -Jacob

![]() | I'm using a Brass Bags Triple as well. I keep a Bb, C, mouthpieces, mutes, and a trumpet stand in it and it's lighter than the Pro-Tec single I was using before! The backpack straps are nice too :)
