Can't choose between mouthpieces !!!! HELP

hey guys,
i seem to have a tiny problem

i currently have two trumpet mouthpieces and i don't no which one to use.

i have a Bobby Shew Jazz and a Yamaha 14A4A

i like both differently.
i like the bobby shew one because i get a nice big full tone out of it.
but my range cuts out at a High A above the staff

and the Yamaha 14a4a one is a nice and bright and i can also get a full sound out of it. but my range is extended more.i can get all the way up to an high c above the staff on a good day. and i need to be able to play high because i got lead trumpet in my jazz band.

BUT i also play in a concert band, and i use the bobby shew one for that. and it seems to be working.

but my question is , is it okay to be using more then one mouthpiece.
i would actually prefer to use one.

he are some basic specs on the mouthpieces

14A4a

Rim inner diameter:16.68
Rim contour:semi-flat
Rim thickness: semi-thick
Cup depth:shallow
Throat: 3.65
Backbore:narrow

BS Jazz

Rim inner diameter: 16.85mm
Rim contour: semi round
Rim thickness: semi thick
Cup depth: medium
Throat: 3.65mm
Backbore: narrow

and maybe recommend another mouthpiece for me that has both of the mouthpieces i use combined? if that's possible

so is it bad having two mouthpieces ?
will it mess anything up ?

thanks in advanced :)

*been playing for 6 years, practice out of arbans daily , pages recommend from a professional trumpet player (my teacher)* i would ask my teacher buts its a long weekend so ya

You might want to add a Bobby Shew Lead mouthpece to your collection--you can use the Jazz in band and the Lead in jazz band and keep the same rim all the time.

I think you should pick one and stick with it. The high E sometimes doesn't count.

It has been said and ignored THOUSANDS of times, the hardware will not give you range, only practice does. You have what you earn. Stop messing around and get serious about practicing. You will find real answers there.
