![]() | CKB Mouthpieces Are these CKB mouthpieces just Bach Megatones with a different shape or a standard mouthpiece made heavy. OK now the easy way, do they have the larger throat of a Megatone or standard hole of the standard piece? Curious as my new Benge has one all be it a 3C not the 1C I play. |

| New Friend | Re: CKB Mouthpieces I've played on a few and personally wasn't impressed with them. Not bad pieces. Just your run of the mill "good" trumpet mouthpiece. A buddy of mine plays on one and swears by it, but hey, I know people who do with with every imaginable mouthpiece out there. If you like how it sounds, hey, maybe you can use it for some pops or even piccolo playing. I know Trent Austin is lurking around these forums... He plays a 3C on his picc and sounds fantastic on the Brandenburg. |
