 | Claude Gordon Marcinkiewicz Mouthpiece Hey, I was looking at the marcinkiewicz website and saw their new Claude Gordon pieces, and was wondering if anyone has tried one, what their verdict was, specifically the flugel piece.

| Re: Claude Gordon Marcinkiewicz Mouthpiece I have not tried the Marcinkiewicz brand versions but they did a lot of homework to keep them VERY original with play testing of several of his (CG) finest students against his (CG) personal examples of the mouthpieces. I have however tried the CG Personal as made by Kanstul (virtually identical) and they are wonderful rich sound. I actually use his CG Personal in my trumpet and cornet too. The Cornet is also very rich. I think it is a great Flugel mouthpiece. Right at a 3 in size just DEEP. Jeff Purtle has played them and the new horns and said they are very good and even has his students buying the Macinkiewicz versions.
