Conn 4 trumpet mouthpiece

I found this old Conn 4 trumpet mouthpiece with a large #3 stamped on it with the initials RLS on the other side. It's not a piece that I would play on but I am curious if anyone knows anything about it. It's probably from the 50's. The mouthpiece is shown on the left as my image. I especially want to know what the RLS stands for.
