 | Re: Denis Wick Maurice Murphy Signature trumpet mouthpieces? I have one of these (in fact I have a set) and use it when I am in need of that symphonic 1st trumpet sound that Maurice is known for. Purely personally I wouldn't find the mouthpiece comfortable for everyday use, but it is great if you are after "that" sound. BTW - The reason I have a set of these is that I was one of the guys testing these when they appeared as prototypes. |

To be honest, I like more Rod's sound but did not liked his yammies MPs (just personal, not quality wise) I probably should teste couple of them...And sure the Maurice's sound is kind of dream for every young orchestral trumpeter, right?
