Flugel MPC on Trumpet

Has anyone ever tried using a Flugel MPC on a trumpet?
Is it even possible to put a flugel mouthpiece on a trumpet? Are there adapters of some sort (that work with a Bb Strad) ?

nordlandstrompet make adapters! It works great.. I love the sound, and use that setup instead of a flugel in big bands and horn sections..

Curry makes a flugel cup mouthpiece specifically for trumpet, the TF model.

Re: Flugel MPC on Trumpet

It sounds more mellow, the extreme upper register is often flat and it is more work to play. I don't consider it a "flugel replacement". It is something in between, actually just a less focussed trumpet sound.

May be not perfect grammar, but close enough?

that's pretty close.
English will do fine too, though.
There is a button for English, but only the main page is in Enlish.
