| good gig bags I'm looking for ideas for good gig bags. I want to put a Bb, C, Eb, and Picc. (Scherzer) in this bag. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good bag for this purpose? I would also like some space for mutes/music/acc. |

| Do you want to put all four in at once? The only BAG I know is the Altieri which holds five - or four with mutes. Other than that, I am pretty sure you have to go the quad case route. There are lots of triple bags out there in varying price ranges. Larry Black's newest creations are VERY nice. Dizforprez just had one made and it is gorgeous, but pricey. Reunion Blues also makes a good triple. Good luck! |

| Altieri's are not protective at all. Look into Brass Bags, they are far superior. Their quad is the lightest protective case that you can find. http://www.brassbags.co.uk/ |

| It really depends how much you will be using it. I don't think the Altieri's offer enough protection. I know someone who was wearing their's backpack style and fell back onto a bus seat when it suddenly accelerated. Needless to say, his horns were damaged from the weight of his body pushing against the seat. I would definitely go for a quad case. I have a Wolfpak and it has served me well for 12 years. It has been used a lot on airplanes, etc. and I have never had a problem. I am now looking for a luggage store to repair the zipper and spif it up a bit. I am also going to refresh the foam on the inside. I know there are many quads out there these days, so you should have no problem finding one you like. |

I would love to have a Wiseman case. Those things seem to have the best of everything, they are light , hold alot, and offer great protection.

| wolfpak makes a 2.5 case but that case stays together for about 2 months then starts falling apart. pro-tecs in my opinion are the most protective and durable cases not to mention they don't fall apart. they make a bunch of different combo cases like 2/3/4 trumpets or trumpet/flugel. check it out. thats what i would recommend |

| Sorry, there is no such thing. . A gig bag is your repair man's best friend. Dave Monette says in your hand or in the case. Try these cases http://www.wisemancases.com/ They are pricey, but I have had one for 4 years and don't worry about my horns. I use my double Monette case for my Monette horns, though LOL |

Can Wiseman cases be brought as carry ons on airplains? Also, do they fit Monettes? Thanks, Jimi
