| It's 3 am and Best Brass is here Designed by Shinji Hamanaga, Japan. Shinji was engaged at Yamaha for many years where he designed and participated in the development of many projects. One in particular is the world renowned "Silent Brass". "Warm Up"for Trumpet is Shinji latest invention. LIGHT WEIGHT COMPACT (able to setup in the bell) WELL BALANCED SOUND (Pitch / Intonation / Blow Feeling) SILENCE (Nominal level:about -30dB) You can warm up at anytime! Anywhere! FIT TIGHT to the bell SIMPLE CONSTRUCTION I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to test your new trumpet practice mute, which Elliot Chasanov presented to my colleague Michael Ewald and me. I am very impressed with its playing characteristics; it seems to have no wolf tones in the lower register. It very well may be the best practice mute I have ever tried. Its compact size and light weight are bonuses. Most Sincerely, Ronald Romm Ronald Romm, Trumpet Solo Artist Founding and Former Member of Canadian Brass Yamaha Performing Artist and Clinician Ronald and Avis Romm Trumpet and Piano Duo |

| Re: It's 3 am and Best Brass is here This is a nice way to hide an ad into the forum. Are you Ronald Romm or are you just doing cut'n'paste the review from your "Slidebone" ecommerce website ? Sorry but I feel a little awkward with this kind of marketing strategy. Stéphane |

![]() | Re: It's 3 am and Best Brass is here After the rip-off Marcus Bonna Case, this doesn't surprise me... Slide Bone--If you want to advertise, become a sponsor of TM, don't post your reviews on the forums. PS. Nice letter on MB--"In Brazil., Marcus Bonna is known for threating and suing people. Unfortunately here in the USA, he is irrelevant." Stay classy, SlideBone. Last edited by Jimi Michiel : 04-03-2008 at 10:59 PM. |

Once again you have proved to the brass world your ignorance. Before commenting or posting get your info correctly. BASILI CASES ARE NOT RIP OFFS OF THE MARCUS BONNA CASES. This is the man that made it happen for all of us brass players. Jealousy sure takes its toll and I am sure if I was to send you a free case you would surely play in tune. For those who are offended, my humblest apologies. As for supporting the TrumpetMaster... it would be my pleasure. A few of my NYC colleagues are on here :)

I was the very first in the USA representing Best Brass and trumpet, horn, euphonium, trombone, and bass trombone players come to me every week for these great little mutes. Yes I did cut n paste and was very proud of the review. If you feel awkward, that is understandable but I mean no harm. If ever I can be of any help please feel free. All the best.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: It's 3 am and Best Brass is here Mr. SlideBone, I can appreciate any businessman taking advantage of a good situation, but calling respected members of TM IGNORANT is just plain bad netiquette. I know nothing about your products, but the quality of your posting has spoiled any urge I may have had to look at your products. While it is true that price and quality are significant factors, many of us will not buy from people that seem arrogant, offensive or aggressive. I like to think of TM as a family, where anybody can come and ask questions, get answers or just chat. There is a section for advertisements, please use it if you want to peddle your wares. If you do become a sponsor and learn some manners(!), I am sure that you will get plenty of support just as NYTC, UltraPure and the rest do. |
