![]() | Jeromes new mouthpiece.... MASTER SUPERCHOPS WOW! Just got a note from Jerry telling me about his new JUST GOTTA HAVE ONE...mouthpiece that he swears that will just about play circles around any mouthpiece that is rattlin' around in my mouthpiece bucket n' drawers? Waaaay back since 1997 I have been buying and playing many many Callet mouthpieces...but this time!!!! HAS ANYONE TRIED ONE OF THESE BEAUTIFUL LOOKIN' MOUTHPIECES THAT JERRY FEELS THAT WILL SURPRISE AND DELIGHT EVEN THE MOST PICKY OF TRUMPET GEEKSTERS? |

![]() | Re: Jeromes new mouthpiece.... I bought one and tried it out for a month or so. The diameter was too small for me....640 or so. The rim is wider than I like, too. Reminded me of a GR 64.7MS that I tried. I did like the sound very much. Not as overly bright as other lead pieces I've played. Granted, it's a nice mouthpiece and very comfortable, but doesn't work for everyone equally. Jerry's a great saleman!

A 7E with a wide rim and tight backbore, sounds like something Al Vizzutti and Jens Lindermann would also approve of. I won't order one, but if I find one to borrow somewhere, I'll give it a shot - you all will be the first to know!
