Kanstul Comparator 3C=Mt. V 3?

To my eye the modern day 3C seems an exact copy of the Mt. Vernon 3. Any thoughts?

Some people swear by that comparator, but I've never been able to tell anything by it.

OK.....I got rid of it.....Back to the subject at hand....How are the Kanstul copies? Anyone tried a straight M.V.3?

At least on my monitor the MV appears a scooch larger at the rim and a bit deeper/wider in the cup area. Same rim it appears, just a touch bigger in the cup.

I've used the Comparator to discern the major differences between manufacturers, looking specifically at the bite and depth of the cups in comparison to the Bach 1 I play.

It's good to find a lead piece that closely matches your legit piece, at least it's helped me there!
