It is made in both shanks. I am not a lead player by any stretch, but I have tried my trumpet shank PIC in my Lawler and it played fine. It wasn't anything special to me, but then I normally use an 80C for almost everything.........

i was wanting to start toying around with some lead but i need to find a good piece first...the picc works well for me on piccolo( with cornet shank) and i was wanting to see how it holds up on a b flat.
