Maggio Mouthpiece

I have in my possesion a very rare Maggio 1 mouthpiece which I purchased from Carlton MacBeth back in 2000 when I bought the Maggio Book. Does anyone know any of the specs on this mouthpiece or if there are others out there? It is pretty shallow and very tight. It definately feels smaller than a Bach 1 diameter. Let me know if you have any info.

Re: Maggio Mouthpiece

Maggio 1s are rare. I have a 3, but don't use it. MacBeth liked the 7 better himself.
I am sorry I know nothing about it. Sure sounds interesting.

Re: Maggio Mouthpiece

Thanks for responding to my post. Do you know if the numbering system is in order from the largest diameter to smallest with one being the largest? Also, are they all pretty shallow and tight? How did you get your hands on your Maggio mouthpiece?
