There is a place on the web that has a good comparison chart. See if this site might help:

Well, it is actually a 1st Century A.D. hold up phrase. Roughly translated it means "I have a catapult. Unless you give me all the money I will throw an enormus rock at your head!"

I guess I have a strange sense of humor.....

I was able to translate it (4 years of Latin in high school), but I didn't know if that was from a Roman author or a movie.

er...back to the original question: I don't think Marcinkiewicz has a direct comparison to a Bach 1D. The closest would probably be either the standard model 0, or the pro-line model B5 or A5, but for that kind of $$$ you might as well get a Monette. (that last is purely an editorial conclusion on my behalf).

I would say give them a call at the factory. If you're lucky, Buzz will answer and he's usually quite helpfull in that department (and isn't Buzz just the coolest name for a guy who makes mouthpieces?).

(503) 263 - 2456

Good luck.
