Mena??z mouthpiece

These are pix of the mouthpiece that came with the Olds trumpet I've posted about before. It obviously has seen better days. The brand is Mena(something)z, and on the opposite side is the number 2. I've tried to search for a variety of combinations of the name with the destroyed letter replaced, no luck.

Interestingly, it is seriously torn all to hell, but the playable surfaces are just fine, and in fact this sounds more nice than my new gold (?) plated "Bach" 3C (Asian knockoff), and my Kelly.

Just interested if anyone has any ideas what the heck kind of mouthpiece this is!

Re: Mena??z mouthpiece

It is a Mendez model 2. The Mendez 1 was slightly deeper than the 2 and was Mendez's personal choice.
They were around a NY Bach 10 1/2C in size.

Mendez! Of course, now that you point it out, it makes perfect sense. Thank you!
