Talking Monette question

I was wondering what Monette would be equivalent to my BL2 for a more classical sound. I can color the sound somewhat but might want something a little deeper. Maybe they could do a slap piece with a little deeper cup.? Love the BL2.
Thanks

Call the shop and ask them....I have never done it, but those that have seem to have a very pleasant experience.

The BL2 is a B2 with the L (lead) cup size. So the first step would be a B2, if you need even more there is a B2D (deep).

I'll second 40cal's advice. If you are going to pay a custom price why not get the custom experience and talk to the actual maker. The numbers are confusing too. A B2L is the lead companion to a B2. The BL2 has a much smaller rim than a B2.

That's right. The B4L I play is different than a BL4. Personal service is the way Dave M. does business. Give him a call to be sure you get exactly what you want.

If you want to get a general idea of the sizes before you call Monette's shop (they may appreciate you having a little background in their numbering system), you could consult the new comparison chart on their David G. Monette website. The new chart is very clear and helpful. Then call.
