![]() | Which Mouthpiece to use? I am a freshman in a high school marching band. The show this year is Metallica. Obviously, this means playing very loud. I currently play on a 7c in Marching Band, and a Schilke 13A4A in jazz. Both of these seem to get very blasty when I play loud. What would be a better MP for this purpose? My band director suggests a Bach 3C, but I wanted to check around. Last edited by universe34; 10-25-2009 at 05:11 AM. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Which Mouthpiece to use? If you can ,try the Bach 3C before you buy it, it is a very popular size. A Bach 5C is a darker sound than 3C, which might take some of the edge off. Last edited by Al Innella; 10-29-2009 at 08:38 AM. |
