Guys: I am NOT trying to start any controversy, its just that I recently bought a Zeus Guarnerius ( I also own about 15 other horns, to include 2 custom Harrelsons), and the Zeus came w/a Zeus "E3" mouthpiece. I really like the horn and the M/piece is fantastic. Alex Z will not even address the specs of the mouthpieces, and so I wondered if anyone has an opinion on it and/or knows what it is modeled after.....*

I also play the whole Zues line... however, their mpcs do not work for me. I stick to my Bach 3C. Just my own opinions.

I played the mpc, but I couldn't get any specs on it. It seemed very much like a Bach 3C (Don't quote me)

Was that the E3 or the new "monette looking" one ...F2 I think? Cause I have an E3 that came w/my horn and it is NOT like a Bach 3 (I have that one too).

Jon,
Shush brother. The E3 and the F2 are nothing like the Bach 3C. Peace.

Boy, that mouthpiece looks familiar... I can't quite put my finger on it. Like I've seen it before but that can't be... good grief, what is it about those pieces that seems so incredibly... je ne sais quoi? I hope I can get some sleep tonight over this.

Well, if I could play like Wynton (Marsalis), I wouldn't play like Wynton.
