Pearl Buttons

What is the best way to reattach the pearl buttons on the valve keys? I would assume some sort of glue but does anyone have experience at this?

Re: Pearl Buttons

My thought would be some contact cement. Put just a thin coating on the bottom of the pearl insert, a tiny bit thicker coat on the base part of the finger button. Let them air dry per instructions (usually 5 min or so) then just put them together. Done.

Re: Pearl Buttons

I agree with the contact cement...that's pretty much all we use when replacing pearls on valves, sax keys...
