| Forte User | Sell it or keep it? (Reunion Blues All-Leather Triple bag) Just what the title says. I have a black, all-leather Reunion Blues triple trumpet gig bag that I haven't used for a while, and I'm thinking about selling it for the cash, and so that someone else can get some good use from it. I've kept it in good shape, but I really like the protection my ProTec case affords me for my copper belled horns, and it's a great combo case. Here are a couple of pics. What do you think?

![]() | I would like to see the inside. The outside looks good. Does this case protect the trumpets? I have a Bach case that is a cheap copy of yours and it doesn't protect the trumpet at all. I think I got ripped off on the Bach case. I never use it any more |

![]() ![]() ![]() | FWIW I used to LOVE my RB triple trumpet until one easter when the strap broke off from the bag (poor design IMO) and turned my old Kanstul pic into a dizzy bell. agh! -T

Does it protect the horns? Yeah, it does, and much better than the Reunion Blues triple cordura version of the same bag due to the relative stiffness of the leather when compared to the softer cordura. True story: my horn was in that gig bag the night I was on my way to a Latin band gig and my car got totalled when a guy pulled out in front of me and I T-boned him going about 45 mph. My Manhassett stand shaft got slightly bent, but my Strad came out of that encounter completely unscathed, although my plexiglass sound shield (in the side pocket) got broken. Don't get me wrong - I gigged with this bag a lot, but I carry a lot of accessories now and I like the big side pocket of my ProTec combo case, and now that I have horns with the softer copper bells, I want the added protection of the semi hard sides. I think I'm gonna sell it and if I do, you will find it listed on Ebay this evening.
