Sound Modification

Hey guys, I don't know anything on the subject, but what is the best way to modify a trumpet sound for funk tunes? What's the best or most cost effective way?

Re: Sound Modification

What is it you'd like to change about your current sound? Without knowing what you're doing now and what you'd like to achieve, it's hard to give you any kind of meaningful answer.

Re: Sound Modification

I don't mean like changing my sound when I play normally--thats fine. I'm talking like a Roy Hargrove or Randy Brecker thing.

Re: Sound Modification

Some amps have built in effect such as phasers, flangers, distortion and reverb/delay.

You could also invest in a mic and pedal board that you can create your own sounds on, then you wont have to carry around a million pedals.
