 | spencer`s snake oil I was recently back in the UK to play in an Essex Youth Orchestra re-union concert in honour of the late Glynn Lewis, dear friend and fellow trumpeter. the orchestra was conducted (as it was 20 years ago!) by the one and only Mr. Dennis Wick. On a chance trip to london`s main brass shop shop, www.philparker.co.uk, I came across a new, really fantastic oil, spencer`s snake oil. Will Spencer uses micron small partiles of (PTFE) apparently the same stuff used to coat non-stick frying pans! check out www.willspencer.org Last edited by aneel; 10-03-2006 at 08:11 AM. |

 | Welcome to the new world of valve oil  Will has spent many long days (and nights) getting this oil right (I should know, I have been involved in the testing of many prototype versions) and I think he has done so - I have tried just about everything and this is the best I have tried. I know I am not alone on TM that uses this - PH always demands that I bring him new bottles each time we meet up  |
