| Re: Torpedo Bags I don't know. I placed an order for one from Tulsa Band back in January and was informed they were out of stock. I haven't heard anything from them, though their website says they are out of stock still. Last edited by uatrmpt : 03-18-2007 at 02:06 PM. |

| Re: Torpedo Bags Hi: Monday 3/19 I talked to my shipper and asked where my 300 Torpedo Bags were, and she told me to expect them in a day or two--they cleared customs and were on the truck. I will wade through the 100 or so backorders and start shipping Friday/Sat/Sun, and you can safely start to bug your stores by around the end of next week (end of March). Sorry for the slowness on this one--had some probs with my vendor (it stinks being the little guy). FYI: We made some tiny improvements on these, and the sample that came my way looked better than ever. Of 408 sold last year, I've had only one nitpicky return which I exchanged no questions asked (the case was fine--she was one of "those" customers). Hope that helps--they're coming! |

| Piano User | Re: Torpedo Bags Steve, just wanna give you a note of thanks. Don't know if you remember me, but I was the one from Wichita Falls, who is now on his 3rd Torpedo bag. This new strap design is great-no more breakage! It holds the Stage 1 Felix of NYTC let me take home from TMEA with great protection-I'd be scared to take it anywhere in another case! Just a note of thanks for having such great customer service. Russ |

| Re: Torpedo Bags Just so everyone knows, Russ's first one was from a bad batch from a few years ago, and I replaced it at no charge. I've gotten only one back since the redesign, out of 408 shipped in 06. The improvements are minor, except for the mouthpiece pocket on the inside of the lid. It's hard to describe, but it is connical, and fits into the padding on the inside of the case. I'm redoing my website soon, with a webstore, and will have more complete pix soon as well. A shoulder strap is now included with your purchase. They weren't included before because I added the d-rings at the last minute during the 05 redesign, and didn't want to wait for a new quote from my vendor for the actual straps. This time, I got them, and am keeping my price the same. Everything else is just cosmetics and QC, nothing anyone would notice except me. |

| Piano User | Re: Torpedo Bags True story! Sounds like I made them look bad-not my intention. I just got one of the bad ones in the batch. My main point in telling about that is the fact that it was replaced at no charge at all, not even shipping. Steve took care of me very well, and I am definitely loving this new one! His redesign is awesome-A lot more security for the straps. One of the only cases I'd trust to protect the current horn I'm carrying, that's for sure! |
