| Using Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner I just picked this up, and I have never used one before. I'm at work now, so I can't try it out . . . but I have a stu - uh, uninformed question: Will I be looking to tune to a Bb on this while I'm playing a C? Sounds obvious, but then I have been fooled before. |

| Piano User | Re: Using Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner My wife , a c flute player and I both have one of these Korgs and really like them. You just set it to A-440 and play your tuning note on the C. Up in the right hand corner, the pitch of the note you are playing will appear and the VU meter and green/red lights will indicate how your note is pitched. Just center your pitch so the VU meter reads in the middle and the green lite will appear if your pitch is centered properly. |

| Mezzo Piano User | Re: Using Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner You don't really have to think about it. You can't bend your note so much that it won't know what note you are playing, on accident. Just center the pitch and you'll be fine. You will notice that it is in fact a step lower than the letter note you are playing. On some tuners, you can calibrate the tuning note -- you are not stuck with 440 mHZ. Here is an article explaining the relationship between letter notes and pitches.
