![]() | Vincent Bach 1D Well I was looking for a 1C to liven things up a bit on my horn from my 1B or 20D2d and found the 1D so far only. I frequently get outnumbered on the 1st and 2nd parts while plying my 3rd part. So 2 on 1 is hard to make up. So wanted a bit of brilliance to help carry the sound that I can't make up with volume. I have played the deep stuff to blend in with most people playing C cup stuff. Got to play it in band tonight and WOW it sizzels. Still sounds like a Bach on my Bach TR200S but was actually hearing the projection back off the wall behind the director while playing at reduced volumes and not straining. Still can play down low easily and don't have to push to be heard anymore. |

![]() | Re: Vincent Bach 1D My 20D2d and 1B can be but I think i get better carry and projection with less volume on the 1D. You can hear the reflections of the room and I am not pushing at all. I can hear the part without sounding really brash and without playing half into the stand for reflection. It is great. |
