Warburton Piccolo Backbores

Anyone here use Warburton backbores for pic. playing? If so, which have you found to work best for you?

I normally play warburton mouthpieces... size 4. when i was trying picc mouthpieces, i eventually narrowed it down to a Stork 4P, and warburton 4sv with an 7 or 8 backbore. Of course thats just me, but i eventually picked the stork... it had a bit more of what i was looking for on picc, but i liked 7 or 8... give those a try.

Piccolo trumpets (or their players.....) generally have intonation issues, so picking a mouthpiece is VERY individual even if rim and cup size are clear!

Indeed.
I have found one that works for me, but it wasn't designed for use with a piccolo, nor does it seem to work as well for anyone else.
I know a lot of people who use the S series of backbores, especially the S10, which were designed for use with the Schilke piccolos.

FWIW, I use a BC10* - actually designed for use with a cornet, but it works for me.
