Wedge Flugel mouthpiece clip: Body and Soul

Body and Soul ala Freddie H 916 low fi - Putfile.com

Okay... so this might be the most double/triple time you've heard on a "ballad" but after a night of mostly lush ballads I thought I'd rip open a very Freddie Hubbard-like version of Body and Soul. I used the Verse to Stardust as a solo intro... we played Stardust (sans the verse) in the first set.

I used my Kanstul 1525 flugel with a Wedge 3 deep cupped mouthpiece. Awesome combo and REALLY easy to play.

Check it out on my listen page... it's a long file so be patient for the download. Cheers and thanks to Dr. Dave for making the flugel as fun to play as the trumpet now!

That was spectacular. The ending cadenza made me grin like a fool.

The Olds is wrapped up in Storage. This Kanstul is just so much easier to play for me. That being said the CT is NOT for sale ;)

Thanks for peekin' in!
