What is it??

I was looking through some old stuff that my wife's dad left [ he was a trumpet player also and she has a bunch of his old equipment] and found an old mouthpiece and just for grins and giggles tried it out. That old mouth piece was comfortable and really played nice, nice warm sound and plenty of range and pretty much in tune but I don't know what it is. All it says on it are Gold Cup and 7C. I may just have to play it for a few weeks and see how it pans out. I have been on safaris before but always returned to my trusty Reeves 42M or 42C [ sometimes back to my monette B1 5LD]. Dave

Re: What is it??

I played this piece for a couple of days and it still feels good and I love
the sound. I got the tuner out and the intonation is all over the place, sharp on some notes, flat on some and right on a few so back in the drawer it goes.
